DogBoy’s Goes the Extra Mile

DogBoy's Goes the Extra MileIt’s 10:30 pm on a Saturday night.  You may be out on the town partying with friends or snuggled up in bed watching SNL.  I am up, donning my PJ’s and slippers and headed out to the kennel to give Traxx his late night medication.

Traxx has been boarding with us for many many years.  He used to be a tough guy, making sure all the other dogs knew he was in charge.  Now he’s just a sweet old boy with lots of medical issues and round the clock medications.  Lucky for his mom, a busy surgeon, we are willing to care for him ’round the clock.  No, we’re not medical doctors, and late at night, we’re not even staffed with vet techs.  We’re just people who genuinely care about our customers and at DogBoy’s, we’re willing to go that extra mile.

At another facility, your old sick dog would be charged for each pill or for each dose of medication offered.  At DogBoy’s, we believe that it’s not your fault that your dog is sick (at least in most cases), so why should we charge you extra for it?  Here at DogBoys, medications are all included in our nightly rate.  That’s just the way we do business.

So Traxx’s mom can sleep well, knowing that each night he was here last week, we were up at 10:30 pm, giving him that nighttime med, and making sure he and his kennel mates were all resting peacefully.  You can rest easy too, and know that if your dog has special needs, we’ll take care of them at no extra cost to you.

If you’d like to meet DogBoy or DogGirl and see why we’re so passionate about pet care, sign up for a private tour and let us show you around.  We’d love to put your mind at ease too.

Sweet dreams!

Y’all really do go the extra mile. I remember a few years ago I dropped of Zeke and then headed to Jacksonville for a trip. While there, we were watching the weather channel and saw all kinds of tornadoes in central TX. I texted the kennel and asked what was going on, if the dogs were ok, etc. And almost immediately got a reply about where the storms were headed, and Courtney and/or Bart went to the kennel to personally check on my pup (and all the others, I’m sure). It really put my mind at ease. Love you guys and all the personal care you gave to my dog!
