If you need help getting your dog’s weight down, DogBoy’s Dog Ranch can help.  Spending some time at the dog ranch for boarding or day care can really bring a dog’s weight down.  We can also reccomend good foods to try with your dog that can make a big difference!  Finally, don’t jump to a “diet” or “low calorie” food.  Just like us humans, dogs need smaller portions and more exercise!

Wow that is a sad statistic. But if the overall population is gaining weight I guess there should not be any surprise pets are as well. I am not sure what to do about cats but at least dogs have options. You can walk them or take them to a dog park. I feel dog parks are a great option to exercise your dog when you are not up for the task of walking your dog. This is one reason I created the website Dog Parks In Denver so that people know how to find these parks. They are also a great social area for both you and your dog!
