DogBoy’s Supports Komen Austin with Dog Wash

DogBoy's Supports Komen Austin with Dog WashYour clean pup can save a life! Join us on Sunday, October 6th, 2013, for our second annual Paws for the Cause Dog Wash, a fundraiser that is near and dear to our hearts. We’ll be kicking-off Breast Cancer Awareness Month by washing dogs all day to raise money for the Austin Affiliate of Susan G. Komen.

One out of eight women will have to fight breast cancer in her lifetime. That’s why, since 1999, Susan G. Komen Austin has been hard at work here in the Austin area raising money to provide breast cancer screening, education and medical services as well as financial and emotional support. In fact, 75 percent of the money they raise each year is put to work right here in Bastrop, Caldwell, Hays, Travis and Williamson counties to improve the lives of everyone affected by this deadly disease. The remaining funds are dedicated to global research.

Walk-ins are welcome although we prefer that you schedule ahead to ensure that we have enough time to properly bathe all of the dogs. Contact Jana McSwain to sign-up or for more information.

You can drop off at our Training Center anytime between 8-10 am and pick-up your squeaky clean pooch from 2-5 pm. Baths are $22, nail trims are $10 or you can get both done for $30- cash or check only. All the money raised will go straight to the Austin Affiliate of Susan G. Komen.

We can’t promise pink bikinis with car wash signs, but we will promise a clean dog, a big smile, and a huge thank you from our team! We hope to see you there!
