SNIP Fest 2005!
Humans and dogs will find lots to celebrate at the second annual SNIP Fest, Saturday, October 1, 2-6 p.m. at DogBoy’s Dog Ranch.
There will be live music, fun activities, food, beer (for adults) and plenty of cold water (for dogs and kids). We’ll celebrate the continued growth of SNIP-now more than 100 members strong—and all that has been accomplished toward the cause of fighting pet overpopulation in Central Texas. We’ll also have birthday cake to celebrate DogBoy’s 70th anniversary (in dog years)!
Activities will include a moonwalk, do-it-yourself dog bowl painting (facilitated by The Workshop), canine massage, and a puppy petting zoo. Owners will also have a chance to bringproof that their pet has been spayed or neutered, and receive an official SNIP card on the spot.
AND, the Greyhound Pets of America will have their Speed Alley set up! Come check it out!

We'll also have great live music by Chelle Murrey, Anagen, and by Two Guy Trio!
We’ll recognize SNIP member businesses, honorary members, and give some fabulous awards. All of this for a suggested $5 donation (kids under 12 are free). Please note: DogBoy’s will be closed for business Oct. 1. Dogs are welcome on leash, but there will be no pick ups or drop offs for boarding or day care that day.
We are located at

Call for Vendors!
Do you have a business you’d like to promote at SNIP Fest? We are looking for any business that cares about pets to be a part of our festival. Your business does not necessarily have to be pet related, but if you join SNIP (members join FREE), then your booth fee is reduced. We are also on the lookout for food vendors as well. If you would like our vendor packet, please contact Gloria Smejkal, our Vendor Liaison. Click here for more information about sponsoring or hosting a booth.
Call for Volunteers!
If you would like to be a customer volunteer for the big event, you would gain an all-access pass to the event and get a cool T-shirt to boot! Interested? Just contact Diane Mueller, our fabulous customer and Volunteer Coordinator. We are very happy to welcome her back to this position again this year!
