Spay & Neuter Policy

Dogboy's Dog Ranch is Central Texas' first All Spayed and Neutered boarding facility.

All of us at DogBoy's Dog Ranch believe it is our responsibility to do what we can to help stop pet overpopulation in Central Texas. To clarify, we are not necessarily against breeding, we just think many people breed their dogs for the wrong reasons.

So what does this mean for you and your dogs? Well if you want to board with us, it means this:

• All boarding and daycare clients over the age of six months must be spayed or neutered.
• We will, at our discretion, make exceptions for dogs with a veterinarian's note stating that they have a medical condition that prevents them from being spayed or neutered.
• We will not take dogs that are being kept intact for breeding purposes regardless of pedigree.

We are happy to have the support of all the local animal shelters and rescue groups who think this is a step in the right direction. Please don't hesitate to call the office or email us if you have questions regarding this policy.
