Chelsea's Charm School

In honor of DogBoy and DogGirl's first dog, Chelsea Garbo (pictured below), DogBoy's is now offering daycare and boarding training, aptly named Chelsea's Charm School!

We at DogBoy's understand how real life can get in the way of working with your dog. With that in mind, this program is designed to give our training clients some extra guidance with specific issues that you and your dog may be struggling with.

How does it work?

1) Charm School is designed to help refine certain skills such as:

Basic obedience refresher
Leash walking
Recall
Jumping up
Obedience with multiple distractions
Puppy socialization
Shy dog socialization
Confidence building
Relaxation exercises
Settling
Crate training
And much more!!!

2) Daycare dogs will receive three 15 minute training sessions throughout the day with breaks in between each session.

3) Boarding dogs may sign up for a maximum of 4 sessions per day.

4) When your dog is on a break, he/she will be in playgroup or in down-time, depending on the specific need of your dog.

What are the rules?

Chelsea's Charm School is by appointment only and current shot records (Rabies, Distemper, Bordatella) are required.
Each dog should have current Rabies and name tags attached to their leather or nylon collar.
Charm School is in session rain or shine, Monday through Friday.
Drop off time for daycare dogs is between 7:00 and 9:00 a.m. at the Dogboy's office.
Pick up time for daycare dogs is between 4:00 and 6:30 p.m. at the DogBoy's office.
Owner is to provide their own treats that are soft and can be broken into small pieces. A mix of enticing treats are recommended. See suggested list below.
Owner is to also furnish their dog's own six foot leather or nylon leash, as well as any training tools that they are currently using with their dog such as an Easy Walk Harness or a Gentle Leader. We do not use choke chains, prong collars, electronic collars or retractable leashes.

Prices:

$45/day which includes the regular daycare price of $25
$15 per 15 minute training session for boarders

· Wellness Pure Rewards or Wellbites

· Natural Balance Food Roll (this can be sliced and cut into small squares)

· Charlee Bear dog treats

· Sliced cheese or cheese sticks

· Deli meats such as turkey, liverwurst, roast, ham, etc.
