The DB Disc Dog Team
Stanley - Team Captain
Stanley is an 11 year old Australian Shepherd and is the “captain” of the team. Stanley has caught thousands of discs, thrilling audiences throughout North America at shows and competitions. He is a 2 time Vermont State Champion and a 5 time World Finalist. Stanley’s biggest success came in April 2011 when he won the Purina Incredible Dog Challenge Eastern Championship in Atlanta, GA. Stanley is a true showman, and his flair for the spectacular makes him a memorable favorite for all who have seen him play.
Macho Mojo – The Long Distance Specialist
Macho Mojo is a 10 year old Australian Shepherd who came to us through private rescue. Mojo (aka “Joe”) has distinguished himself as a specialist in “Toss and Fetch” competitions. He is a 3 time World Finalist, 2010 Overall Vermont State Champion, 3rd place Champion at 2010 World Finals and the 2011 Canadian Toss and Fetch Champion. Mojo has an amazing innate ability to track and catch discs over long distances, making him a favorite at sporting event shows.
Flying Fire – The Social Butterfly
Flying Fire is a 9 year old female Australian Shepherd who was adopted through Australian Shepherd Rescue. Fire is the social butterfly of the team, using her stunning good looks and outgoing personality to meet and greet audiences at shows. She is also an excellent canine athlete, with multiple regional and state championships to her credit.
High Voltage Vinnie
High Voltage Vinnie is 4 years old and joined our team in the summer of 2012, adopted through Australian Shepherd Rescue where he was picked up as a stray in New Jersey. Vinnie is young, fast, powerful and FLASHY! He is the future captain of the team and competed in his first World Finals event in 2014. Stay tuned for big things from High Voltage Vinnei!
