Snake Avoidance Seminar
One of the hazards that active dogs and their owners face in Texas is snakes, often poisonous ones. Snake-avoidance training is not new, but such training without the use of aversive techniques such as shock collars is not easy to find. DogBoy’s has partnered with Pamela Johnson, CPDT-KA, to offer snake-avoidance training using only positive, force-free methods!
Pamela Johnson, who is a full-time physical education teacher in California, is the owner of Pam’s Dog Academy in San Diego. She travels widely to present at seminars on snake avoidance, Canine Freestyle, and other subjects.
She also maintains a Youtube channel of free, invaluable dog-training videos called “Pam’s Dog Academy.” (You can view clips of her snake-avoidance methods there.)
