Sandy & Rags
The mother of one of our long time clients was diagnosed with Alzheimer's several years ago. She was always been a softy for animals. Now she is in her final stages of the illness and she no longer remembers them. These dogs must know she is sick because they are really good to her. She has to lay down a lot during the day and Sandy goes with her every time.
Sandy is a yellow lab and I'm not sure what Rags is but totally adorable. They've had them for 7-8 years so they are a little older but they have been loved a lot. They have become a source of stress for their owner, who is no longer capable of caring for her pets. Please help us find these faithful dogs a good home.
Bruno
Bruno came to a member of the Dogboy's staff as an owner surrender because they could no longer care for him. He was overweight, missing hair on his back, covered in hotspots and fleas and had only been the the vet once in his life! Luckily Bruno received lots of love and attention from his foster parents and is now up to date on his vaccines, is heartworm negative, and has a healthy coat (thanks to his improved diet of California Natural.) Now Bruno is looking for the perfect home!
Bruno is estimated to be an 8-10 year old lab mix and is often compared to the Disney cartoon "Doug" from the Disney Movie "UP." Bruno is a green card at Dogboy's and spends the majority of his time sleeping in the Ready Room. He is a great adult dog and is often used for socializing puppies in our "puppy class." Bruno would be great in a home with a younger dog and would offer a good calming effect as well as occasional play.
If you are interested in Bruno, Dogboy's can do a trial day of daycare with your dog to make sure they get along well. You can also have a "trial phase" adoption to determine if he is a good fit for your pack. Please ask our office or kennel staff about Bruno and they would be glad to tell you all about him!
