Meet DogBoy

Bart "DogBoy" Emken graduated from UT with a BS in Communications. Not long after entering the world of Advertising he realized that the corporate life just wasn’t for him. One day Bart saw a guide dog stop a blind man from falling down a flight of stairs. That dog saved the blind man from certain injury and at the same time sent a "Eureka!" into the mind of DogBoy. He decided then and there that he wanted to make a difference in this world; and dogs were going to be a big part of that. After working for years in the dog kennel and then dog training industry, he started Positive Power Kennels in 1995. He has been changing the lives of dogs and their owners ever since. Together with his wife Courtney and their dog-lovin‘ staff, Bart runs DogBoy’s with the mission to provide a fun and loving home-away-from-home for dogs while at the same time, giving our customers the peace of mind that their pets are being given the best possible treatment - and all at a great price.
