Terminology of services and what they include:
What is a Full Service Groom?
Pre-groom (before the bath): Your pet
receives not only a complete brush & comb out, but also a pedicure
(trimming of the nails); including pads of the feet, and a sanitary and
ear cleaning.
Bath: Your pet will be luxuriously bathed with a naturally scented pH
balanced shampoo for all breeds and ages. The first shampooing is a deep
cleansing; another shampoo is given ensuring all the dirt is off your
pet. Followed by a conditioner.
Finish: The full service groom is
completed with a fluff dry, and another brush out for a great look, a
fresh scent cologne and fashionable accessory (bows or bandanas).
Polish available only for poodles upon request.
What is a Day Spa Groom?
Pre-groom (before the bath): Your pet receives not only a complete
brush & comb out, but also a full body massage, a pedicure
(trimming of the nails), and pads of the feet, and a sanitary
and ear cleaning.
Groom: Depending on the breed, your pet will be groomed (hair clipped,
scissors, hand stripped or shaved) depending on breed, or what you request.
Bath: Your pet will be luxuriously bathed with a naturally scented pH
balanced shampoo for all breeds and ages. Medicated shampoo is available
upon request. The first shampooing is a deep cleansing; another shampoo
is given ensuring all the dirt is off your pet. Followed by a conditioner
and fluff dry.
Finish: The day spa groom is completed with another brush
out smoothing and tidying of loose hair, a fresh scent cologne and fashionable
accessory (bows or bandanas). Polish available only for poodles upon request.
Appointments:
Every pet groom is handled one appointment at a time. I carefully
bathe, dry, and groom your pet; every pet is handled with special
care during the groom. I do not use cages during any of the
grooming procedure.
Quality products:
Only the best pH balance products are used for the bath. I never use inferior
products just to save money. I care too much about your pet's skin and
coat for that!
I require 24 hours notice for cancelled appointments. If you cancel within
the 24 hours prior to your appointment, or fail to show up for your scheduled
appointment you will be charged 50% of your normal grooming fee.

One of the following may affect the Final Grooming Fees
· If your dog's coat is badly matted and the pre-groom takes extra
work to de-mat his/her coat.
· If your pet has ticks or fleas and requires a flea bath or tick
removal.
· If your pet requires more than 2 (two) baths to clean his/her
coat.
**Please Note: Owners may be held responsible for medical treatment if
their dog bites the groomer.

Full Manicures
|
Maintains pet's paws in the best condition possible. Includes nails
clipping and shaping, and hair trimming between the pads and toes.

Your favorite canine is bathed, then saturated
with conditioner and finally fluffed dry. Your pet is ready for

Hair is clipped and scissored around the anal and stomach areas
to help reduce odors.

Ear Plucking
|
A medicated power is gently placed in your pet's ear to help with
oily ear canals. This allows for easy plucking of hair in the ear.
Hair is the major cause of ear infections, as it does not allow
air into the ear, (especially poodles). The ear is then cleaned
out with medicated cotton balls ensuring all dirt is removed.

Soft Nail Covers
|
Nail Covers provide protection for you and your
children, furniture, and hardwood floors. The nails are cut and
prepared for the soft nail covers to be applied. The nail covers
are glued on only to the front paws and are clear and unnoticeable.
(They last approximately 2-3 months (depending on wear and tear).

About the Groomer
Gina Sandoval graduated from SWT with her BS in Health Education. After
being in the corporate world for many years and effected by a Reduction
In Force, she decided to follow her passion: her Love for dogs and animals.
Gina has seven dogs and decided to go to grooming school in Arlington,
Texas and attended 3-month extensive training. She graduated with 480
clock hours of intensive, hands-on-learning course grooming and received
the special award of attending all days of consecutive training. After
completing school she returned to Austin and discovered DogBoy's. Gina
really likes DogBoy's and its mission and happily became employed by them!
My Philosophy: I have patience and love for animals, believing they are
the best companions, friends and children. I have learned to create a
safe environment and positive relations between me and my four-legged
clients and their parents/owner.
