DogBoy's boarders and daycare pups may request bath and nail trim at each visit. Baths range from $18 - $28, depending on the weight of your dog and the length of coat. If you don't want a full bath, but instead just want the major mud rinsed off, that'll cost you a whopping $7.
Nail trims are $10 for all four paws, all dogs. Since nails are softest and most easily cut after a bath, bathing them first always helps facilitate a nail trim. If your dog shows significant signs of stress during the bath or nail trim, we will forgo either or both. (We don't want your dogs to remember this as a stressful place. Then they won't have fun next time they're here.)
If you expect to take home a clean dog, PLEASE request a bath. Dogs get dirty out here; that's why the baths are so cheap. Obviously, they are not required. You are more than welcome to bathe your own dog when you get home. We just highly recommend the baths because we know that the chances of Rover going home clean are slim to none.
If you don't request a bath on drop off, and then change your mind about it later, please give us no less than two hours notice to take care of it for you. If you call and get our answering service, please continue to call until you get a human on the phone. There is no guarantee we will be able to do the grooming when requested the day of pickup, but we will do our best to make it happen.
If you are planning to pick up your pup before 11 a.m., please be aware that your dog will be bathed the night before pick-up day. This means that we will keep your pup close by on the morning he goes home so he won’t get dirty again. If your plans change and you will be picking up later in the day, please call our office so we can let your dog go out to playgroup. He may not come home perfectly clean, but he will enjoy the maximum amount of fun out at the ranch.
